Administration Officer

We are currently seeking expressions of interest for Administration Officer candidates who are proactive, highly motivated and passionate about their role and the clients they serve. 

The successful candidate will build a long lasting, mutually beneficial relationship with our company and clients to ensure effective accounts strategies are implemented to meet the operational requirements of the business. 

Essential Skills and Criteria

  • Proven minimum 3 years experience in a similar role;
  • Proficient intermediate competency in MS Office suite;
  • Demonstrated exceptional written and verbal communication skills;
  • Established outstanding ability to develop honest and trustworthy rapport with clients and colleagues;
  • Proven effective organisational capability to manage work priorities and meet deadlines; and
  • Determined skilled resourcefulness with an adaptable attitude.

Desirable Skills and Criteria

  • Tertiary qualification or equivalent in Business Administration;
  • Demonstrated 2+ years experience working in the electrical and/or construction industry;
  • Current WA Drivers Licence;
  • National Police Clearance Certificate (valid within 3 months); and
  • Experience using SmartSheet electronic job tracking system.

Key duties and responsibilities of the role include but are not limited to:

  • Providing general administrative assistance to the Managing Director;
  • Preparing financial and administrative reports and presentations;
  • Managing and replenishing stock levels for office supplies and stationery equipment;
  • Handling the maintenance and repair of office equipment;
  • Booking meetings, events and other social functions as required;
  • Maintaining scheduled appointments and company calendars; and
  • Ensuring company and staff information, reports and correspondence are kept confidential.

The successful candidate must have a professional, positive demeanour and be willing to perform ad-hoc tasks as required.
