About the opportunity

We have a fantastic opportunity for a trade qualified Technical Service professional to become an integral part of our friendly and energetic team, supporting business operations throughout VIC, TAS and SA.

Reporting to the Regional Service Manager this role offers an attractive salary package, a company vehicle as well as office related tools being provided to the successful candidate.

This is an office based role with full-time working hours (Mon to Fri, 9am to 5pm). 

Key responsibilities:

  • General support of MHI air conditioning products to the Australian market.
  • General management of Technical Support  in VIC/TAS/SA.
  • Support the General Manager, Service & Technical and Regional Service Manager with technical and epidemic failure information and parts recovery.
  • Support Service Agents with spare parts selection assistance and technical service and commissioning support via phone, fax or email.
  • Liaise with service agents, contractors and consumers.
  • Complete projects and supervise commissioning's on site including reporting with supporting Mente PC Data/E-Solution files.
  • Demonstrate operation of control systems to end users and installation/service contractors as required.
  • Provide product technical training seminars in conjunction with the set agendas.

The preferred candidate will:

  • Full Australian working rights is essential (Australian Citizenship or Permanent Residency).
  • Hold relevant trade qualifications and Full Refrigerant and Air-Conditioning licence (RAC01) is essential. 
  • Applicable Electrical Licence is essential. 
  • Full drivers licence is essential. 
  • Be able to demonstrate knowledge and experience with VRF and inverter product is essential.
  • Have demonstrable HVAC service, diagnostic and commissioning experience.
  • Have exceptional relationship management skills.
  • Demonstrated superior time management and organisational skills.
  • Have superior problem-solving, diagnostic and analytical skills.
  • Be self-motivating and able to work autonomously.

The successful candidate will be subjected to a National Police and Driving Check.
