The Tasman Holdings Group operates nationally and has a number of wholly-owned subsidiaries that operate across the mining, resources, defence, water and renewable energy sectors. Tasman is looking for an enthusiastic and talented HSEQ Manager to join our team based in Jandakot, Perth.
Th HSEQ Manager will support operations across both Tasman Power and Tasman Rope Access. The role is predominantly Perth based with adhoc travel to site as required. The HSEQ Manager is required to work closely with the existing management team to ensure the safe execution of projects and shutdown works. Reporting directly to the Groups CEO, the HSEQ Manager will drive strategic priorities through hands on involvement across the business.
Ability to engage, mentor and train a range of Tasman personnel in HSEQ issues.
Ability to interpret and apply injury and illness classifications under OSHAs 1904.7 General Recording Criteria
Executive and board reporting for all HSEQ and compliance performance metrics
Experience in the application of International and Australian/New Zealand Standards within Australian workplaces
Experience in workers compensation claims and injury management processes
Lead incident investigations across the business in Five Whys, ICAM and Essential Factors/8 Steps methods
Managing compliance with client critical risk and major hazard programs
Solid experience in implementing and maintaining integrated management systems to AS/NZS 4801, IRATA TACS, ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO/IEC 17025, ISO/TS 29001, ISO 45001 and OHSAS 18001
Strong technical writing ability and quality auditing skills for the internal document control system
Supporting management and supervisors in achieving key performance indicator milestones
To be successful in this role, you will require:
Tertiary qualifications in Occupational Health and Safety and Quality Management.
Experience managing accreditations and audits.
Confidence to effectively communicate across all levels of the business.
High-level engagement skills to coach, influence, and drive change.
Willingness to balance strategic lead responsibilities and practical, hands-on tasks to get things done.
Sound computer skills Microsoft Office.
The ability to multi-task and problem solve.
