Finance / Administration Support Officer

THE OPPORTUNITY:

We are looking for a highly motivated Finance / Administration Support Officer to join our team at our office based in Pambula. This position will offer exposure to all areas of Finance / Administration division to help support our business.

 

This is a permanent full-time position, working Monday to Friday. We will consider part - time hours for the right candidate.

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

 

  • Payroll processing and related functions (including superannuation and payroll tax)
  • Accounts Payable; processing of invoices and credit notes
  • Preparation of end of month supplier reconciliations
  • Batching of payments and daily bank reconciliations
  • Assist with end of month balance sheet reconciliations
  • Statutory Reporting; including preparation of Business Activity Statement, Instalment Activity Statement and Payroll tax
  • Day to day office functions
  • Ad hoc duties to support the administration team as required.

 

COMPETENCIES & QUALIFICATIONS

  • At least 5 + years experience in a similar finance administration
  • Demonstrated computer skills in MS Excel, Xero or similar general ledger package
  • Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy
  • Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication
  • The ability to prioritise, meet deadlines and work with conflicting time constraints.
