e8urban is seeking a talented 3D Designer to join our Urban Design and Planning practice, based in Bondi Junction.
Our projects span strategy and urban design, master planning and public domain development at all scales. We pursue a design-led approach to our work and place great emphasis on the quality of the graphics that communicate our ideas.
The ideal candidate for this role will be a recent graduate or have up to 3 years experience and come from an Architecture or Landscape Architecture background with local project experience.
The successful applicant will be motivated, able to use initiative, take pride in their work and be able to listen and take direction.
Our studio predominantly works with Rhinoceros 3D & Flamingo on Windows and Mac however applicants with strong experience with other rendering packages will also be considered.
Excellent 3D modelling and rendering skills
Proficiency in Rhino and Grasshopper with the ability to utilise and tailor scripts
Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, InDesign and Photoshop)
Working knowledge of Vectorworks is desirable but not essential
Being organised in management of drawings and software with attention to detail is essential
Ability to clearly demonstrate and communicate design ideas and concepts through diagrams and drawings
Good communicator with the ability to work independently on agreed tasks
Graduate of architecture or landscape architecture preferred
Demonstrated interest in urban design advantageous
