The Role

To help us meet the demands of our growing business, we are seeking to employ a qualified Building Surveyor on a full-time basis.

Primary Duties

  • Technical assessment of commercial and domestic documentations for approval
  • Site inspections on completion of building work
  • Regulatory and compliance advice to owners, designers, and builders
  • Provide technical support and guidance to other staff as required

Essential skills and experience to be considered for this role

  • Relevant and up-to-date work experience as a practicing Building Surveyor either in private industry or government department. Consideration will be given to applicants that are close to completion of relevant studies with industry experience
  • Demonstrated strong organisational, planning and time management skills
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to research, interpret and convey accurate information to stakeholders
  • Confident IT / Computer skills as we are a paperless office
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office / Outlook
  • Excellent inter-personal skills with the ability to work autonomously and collaboratively within a small team environment
  • Current drivers licence
