Due to continued growth, a unique opportunity has arisen for a Senior Planning Engineer to join the Sydney water team, while supporting the national planning team to deliver projects.
Reporting into the Team Leader, you will work alongside a number of key clients, provide planning solutions across a variety of projects and assist in the growth of the NSW business whilst mentoring an energetic team of industry professionals.
Bachelor’s Degree (Engineering) or Equivalent
A minimum of 10 years’ experience in a similar role
Demonstrated water and sewer engineering knowledge and experience in water utility sector (or similar)
Proven experience successfully conducting options analysis for engineering projects
Experience in water/wastewater planning at either a master planning/detailed planning level
Working knowledge with Sydney Water on Planning projects
Experience using industry-standard software, including SWMM, InfoWorks ICM, InfoWater and Water GEMS
An understanding of appropriate technical standards, legislation, codes of practice and Australian standards
Skilled in project management, including monitoring and managing the scope, budget and risks of multiple projects of varying complexity and size
Exposure to client engagement with a track record of delivering best client outcomes/options
A passion for and involvement in shaping the industry through committees, industry bodies, delivering papers etc.
