A little about us:

EK Security, a branch under Northern Protective Services is now the largest provider of security services in the East Kimberley, with operations in Kununurra, Wyndham and Halls Creek. Our Head Office is in Kununurra and our Operations Support Centre is in Wyndham. These areas will be the main locations our new Regional Manager will oversee for day to day security operations. 

 

The team: 

The EKS team of 20 employees includes 16 full-time employees and 4 Operations Supervisors. Our team of full-time employees offer an average of 10 years' experience in providing security services. While we have expanded since our humble beginning, we are always looking to grow further.

 

Our clients:

More than 500 scheduled hours of client security are delivered each week to a range of local, national and international clients. We know that by adding an additional service to our business we can grow our cliental within the region.

 

The Role: 

As a Regional Manager for NPS, you will be fully accountable for daily operations, client contacts, leading and supporting all our Security Officers, as well as expanding relationships across the East Kimberley and Northern Territory. You will report directly to the NPS Managing Director and your responsibilities will include but are not limited to: 

  • Overseeing operations for multiple sites day to day management of the team.  
  • Managing EKS contracts - maintain ongoing relationships with existing clients as well as building a network for potential new cliental.
  • Team Recruitment An ongoing evaluation of where our team are needed depending on client criteria.
  • Cost management Maintaining a balance of cash flow by assessing rosters, overtime, training and meeting targets and KPIs
  • Maintaining our EKS Traineeship Program
  • Lead, engage and mentor your team. Coach performance to drive improved outcomes.
  • Overseeing and leading our Security Officers and Trainees.

About You:

We are seeking someone who already understands what it is to run a successful team, with experience in both leadership and security roles: 

Essential Criteria: 

  • 3 years experience in leadership / management 
  • Good understanding of budgeting and account management
  • Demonstrated stakeholder relationship development and management
  • Drivers License

Desired Criteria: 

  • Experience in security leadership
  • Cert 4 in Security and Risk Assessment or equivalent training
  • WA Security Licence
