12 Month Contract | Immediate Start!, Parramatta Surrounds | Government Agency, Prior Government experience will be necessary for this role.
This is a 12-month contract with a Government agency based in the Parramatta surrounds. This department focuses on navigating a range of complex socioeconomic issues and providing support to rural communities across New South Wales.
The Financial Analyst will play a pivotal role in the audit and expansion of certain internal processes that are currently under review. The successful candidate will be reviewing past performance of this program with their team, with a view to realigning the process prior to FY21.
The core tasks aligned to his role will include, but not be limited to:
Contributing to new Internal Control procedures
Business partnering within the department and key stakeholders
Monthly management reporting
Monthly completion of Costs Centre Reports and Financial statements
Assisting with compiling annual budget packs, yearly budgeting processes and forecasting
Analysis of SAP for all accounting enquiries and data collection
Liasing with auditors and completing year-end audit requirements
All other ad hoc duties as requested by management
The Successful Applicant
Will hold or be working towards a professional qualification (CA or CPA)
Possess a strong Audit background, working with internal controls and processes.
Experience managing key finance stakeholders and management reporting.
Have excellent written and verbal communication
A driven and proactive team player able to adapt to a fast-paced work culture
