Our client is an independent full spectrum financial services firm offering accounting, business advisory, wealth management and finance solutions to businesses and individuals located just North of Melbourne CBD.

Our client is searching for an experienced client services officer to join their growing team with the potential for long term career development.
  
They provide holistic financial advice to wealth accumulators. The team work collaboratively to service their established client base. 

About the Role
You will be working as the sole Client Services Officer supporting a small team of experienced financial planning professionals including two senior financial advisers and one paraplanner.
  
You will be responsible for taking ownership of the life cycle of client management. This includes implementing advice recommendations and developing strong relationships with clients. You will also be the first point of call for any clients who have enquiries.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide client administrative and implementation support to the advisers across the full client life cycle.
  • Implement advice strategy recommendations, including superannuation, insurance, and investments.
  • Coordinate and prepare required documentation for new and existing clients across wealth creation and insurance using XPLAN and iFirm software.
  • Liaise with platform providers, follow up underwriters and fund managers for outstanding documents/policy applications.
  • Be a point of contact for client enquiries regarding implementation and managing client files.
  • Maintain client records using XPLAN software.

Skills & Experience:

  • Experience working in a financial planning practice in an administrative capacity.
  • Demonstrated experience with XPLAN software required.
  • Skilled in implementing financial advice strategies across superannuation and insurance.
  • Proficient with Macquarie platform highly regarded.
  • Experience with TAL, AIA, BT and OnePath insurers highly regarded.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Go getter with passion for financial planning, who is looking to develop their financial planning career long term.
  • Show initiative and able to work autonomously.
  • Ability to build strong rapport with clients.
  • Diploma of Financial Planning (RG146) or higher desirable.
