Marketing Coordinator

We are looking for a switched on, conscientious and creative marketing professional to help promote our passion to a broad network of travel agents and other tourism stakeholders.

The successful candidate will have proven experience in either digital or content marketing and/or trade marketing and know their way around various social media and email marketing platforms. Excellent attention-to-detail is critical, as is the ability to work autonomously and deliver outstanding content to our highly engaged travel agent community. Equally, you will be able to compile trade marketing campaigns and be savvy with marketing and sales reports.  Experience in travel or tourism is advantageous but not necessary. A great, can-do attitude combined with faultless follow-through is essential.


Job responsibilities

  • Writing and curating content for weekly trade email newsletter
  • Develop content that helps educate Travel Agents about New Zealand and Australian travel and helps to position ANZCRO as the specialists in those areas
  • Regular content creation for ANZCROs closed Facebook groups and Facebook pages
  • Coordinate trade promotions, including co-operative marketing campaigns with Travel Agent networks and tourism stakeholders
  • Work with internal teams and external freelancers (including graphic designers and copywriters) to develop regular promotional materials
  • Be the main point of contact for all related marketing enquiries and requests from Travel Agents and the broader stakeholder network
  • Develop and implement trade marketing campaigns
  • Prepare marketing activity reports (e.g. post-campaign reports) and sales reports for internal and external stakeholders
  • Help maintain ANZCROs trade and consumer websites

Skills, Experience and Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree or similar in marketing or a related field
  • Excellent written and communication skills
  • Experience in digital marketing/content marketing or trade marketing
  • Proven copywriting skills
  • Ability to prepare briefs for graphic designers, copywriters and website designers
  • Excellent written and communication skills
  • Proficient in creating emails and maintaining content lists email marketing platforms such as Vision 6 or Mailchimp
  • Experience with developing content for social media marketing
  • Experience in optimising and monitoring PPC campaigns and managing SEO/SEM desirable
