We're looking for a Digital Communications Executive to develop, implement, track and optimise our marketing and communication strategy across our two main brands - Hands Across the Water and Future of Leadership. This is more than just a marketing role in a corporate organisation; this is a marketing role that has the ability to make a huge difference in the lives of the children that we support.
As a small, high performing organisation, you must be exceptionally efficient, agile when juggling multiple tasks and be prepared to step in and lend the team a helping hand wherever required. Make no mistake, being a not for profit organisation, we dont have an endless supply of resources so if youre someone who is used to delegating and not prepared to do what it takes to get the job done, then this is not the role for you.
This work from homerole means that you have strong self-motivation skills, a willingness to take ownership of your role, and the ability to work with minimal supervision in a home office environment.
Plan and execute all web, email, social media and display advertising campaigns.
Design, build and moderate our social media presence across multiple channels.
Copy write compelling content for digital assets, websites, social media channels, blogs, newsletters, ad campaigns and eDMs.
Maintain database hygiene and email marketing platform (Mailchimp) using best practice tagging, data cleansing, segmentation and integration tactics.
Set the creative direction and coordinate the design of all marketing and campaign materials.
Create all communication assets across the Membership Program to ensure our Member experience is best in class.
Measure and report performance of all marketing campaigns and assess against goals.
Identify trends and insights, and optimise spend and performance based on the insights.
Be the brand custodian for Hands Across the Water and Future of Leadership to ensure consistency across all channels and experiences.
Write press releases and manage media distribution and enquiries as required.
Minimum 3 years digital marketing experience
Demonstrated experience leading and managing email, marketing database, social media and/or digital advertising campaigns
Highly creative with experience devising digital campaigns that engage, inform and motivate.
Excellent copywriting, storytelling, editing and verbal communications skills.
Exceptional systems and technical skill - content management systems, SEO, Hootsuite, Google Analytics, Microsoft Office (or Mac) and Google Suite.
Strong understanding and/or willingness to learn content creating tools, marketing automation and CRM.
Strong personal values and a commitment to working in the not-for-profit sector with passion and commitment for supporting those less fortunate than ourselves.
Self motivated to do what needs to be done without influence from other people or situations.
Strong self motivation skills to show up each day with enthusiasm and initiative to not only identify and develop new opportunities, but to deliver clear results.
Capacity to be flexible and take on additional duties at times where the team needs to band together to achieve a common goal.
Super motivated, can do attitude and a problem solver.
Passionate about creating a better life for people less fortunate.
Dependability and strong work ethic.
Full-time position working from a dedicated home office or virtual location with reliable internet.
Requirement to attend and participate in regular team meetings and strategy sessions held in Pyrmont.
Employees are expected to be online and available between 9.00am and 5.00pm Monday to Friday with 30 minutes for lunch break.
Must provide own laptop, printer, mobile phone and internet.
