Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor, you will primarily be based at our Mt Crosby Water Treatment Plant with responsibilities within the South Somerset region. Your primary responsibilities will be to:
Provide direction, support and feedback for the maintenance teams
To provide supervision of delivery of services in relation to the operation, maintenance, refurbishment and augmentation of Electrical/Mechanical/Civil assets and providing supervision of trade resources, contractors and field staff within the District Centre across operational asset
To participate in the effective planning, scheduling and coordination of preventative, non-routine maintenance activities and refurbishment programs across the District Centre, and managing works as required to ensure all WH&S, service objectives and budget targets are met within the required time frames.
To be responsible for the supervision of onsite work focus on safety, workmanship, quality and efficiency.

You will possess knowledge and understanding of the scope, function and nature of the Electrical/Mechanical/Civil assets used in water treatment and bulk water storage.
You will have extensive experience in the field of maintenance of water assets or similar industry.
You will have knowledge of processes used to assess the condition of assets and establish the most appropriate maintenance regime for the assets.
Bring sound supervisory experience in leading a team of contractors and/or skilled tradespersons and trade assistants.
Have a sound understanding of effective planning and scheduling of resources in an operational environment.
Demonstrate sound written interpersonal and oral communication skills including the ability to consult with a range of Seqwater employees, contractors, customers and the public.
An appropriate trade qualification
Advanced trade qualifications with extensive supervision experience
Possess a current "C" class Queensland Drivers Licence
Current Confined Space Training Certification (in the past 12 months)
Current First Aid, LVR&CPR, Working at Heights, Breathing Apparatus and Gas Test Atmosphere tickets are all desirable, but not essential.

This position has been graded in accordance with Seqwater's EBA as a MS1 with a salary of $95,960.00 plus superannuation
