About the role
Compass is looking for trade qualified carpenters to join our team based in the Hunter. Reporting to the Maintenance Area Manager you will take pride in your work by providing a professional and quality standard of repair and installation of building products to our tenants. Working as part of a larger team you will demonstrate a flexible approach to your work by your willingness to undertaking a range of general maintenance tasks including:
Fixing & Finishing Carpentry
Roof and ceiling repairs
Patching & Painting
Repairing and replacing timber decks, balustrades, steps and pergolas.
Small Concreting jobs
Door and window maintenance
Residential property maintenance
Trade qualified carpenter or joiner with hands- on experience and an excellent understanding of carpentry techniques
Ability to read technical documents and drawings
An eye for detail and the ability to work at a low margin of error
NSW unrestricted driver’s license with satisfactory driving record
