Legal Administration Assistant (Maternity Leave Contract)

The Role

This uniquely rewarding 12 Month Maternity Leave Contract role within a vibrant property development firm would suit a candidate with legal administration and/or conveyancing experience. 

The role involves part-time work from Monday-Friday, 10am-3pm. Contract will be reviewed upon 12 months with potential for extension. 

Duties and Responsibilities

As our in house Legal Administration Assistant you will:

  • Draft investor agreements, legal documents and letters using available templates
  • Call clients to confirm their identity and ensure accurate information has been provided
  • Act as the Legal point of contact for clients, external agents, solicitors and lawyers
  • Answer client queries in relation to agreements and contracts
  • Be involved in a variety of legal matters across the firm
  • Work closely with Directors, GM, Accounts and Capital Advisory team
  • Identify and resolve potential issues and problems
  • Maintain legal compliance
  • Print, photocopy and collate documents
  • Filing and Administrative duties 

Skills and Experience

The successful applicant will:

  • Have at least 1.5 years' experience in a similar role
  • Possess affinity with clients and the ability to interact with them in a friendly yet professional manner
  • Be able to build effective working relationships whilst maintaining confidentiality
  • Have pride in the quality of service you provide our clients
  • Be proficient in Microsoft Office and/or Google Suite
  • Have a high level of computer literacy
  • Have a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Have the ability to prioritize and work to deadlines, showing excellent time management skills
