Inventory Planner

They are currently seeking an experienced Inventory Planner to join their established team. You will be a pivotal part of continuing and driving the company's reputation to deliver excellence in service and quality.

Your responsibilities in this role will include but are not limited to:

  • Reviewing and correcting daily reconciliations 
  • Managing stock availability across a range of products
  • Receiving, verifying and processing all import shipping documents from global origins to ensure a smooth and timely delivery
  • Keeping customers, suppliers and stakeholders informed on schedules and updates for all files (e.g. D/Os, IFIP inspections etc) 
  • Maintaining physical / cycle stocktakes and ensuring that records are accurate and reflective
  • Raw material / stock allocation
  • Bin management 
  • WIP reporting
  • Job status / valuation reporting
  • Inventory set up / maintenance
  • Adding new stock codes for raw materials & finished goods 
  • Assisting with timely and accurate monitoring and logging of warehouse stock movements
  • Assisting with maintaining inventory levels, records, code setups and movements
  • Batch optimisation 
  • Implementation of process / continuous improvement regimes
  • Write offs / obsolete stock / stock variance
  • Inventory reduction
  • Purchasing and coordinating receival of goods from suppliers 
  • Forecasting / demand planning
  • OHS / Quality Control 
  • Assist with production planning / scheduling / processing
  • Developing production schedules 
  • Budgeting / cost analysis
  • Creating BOM

In order to be successful in this role, you must display the following attributes:

  • Knowledge of various stock control procedures
  • Understanding of PRONTO software or a similar package (ERP / MRP / SAP)
  • A high attention to detail
  • Previous exposure within a manufacturing organisation
