Technical Services Manager

Reporting to the Head of Operations- Health Solutions, we are looking for a candidate with sound technical knowledge and experience in in the following product domains and technologies: Nurse call, PES, MATV, IPTV, IP networks and related technologies, servers and virtualisation technology, SQL databases, trade level electronics, health building technology  and high level integrations.

As the Technical Services Manager in our Health Solutions business you will be responsible for providing management and leadership to our technical teams, driving the technical culture in our Health business including best practice development and implementation, providing and coordinating technical support to the Health Partner network and the provision and implementation of a training continuum for HHS technical system, and foundation knowledge for the Health technical team members.

Our ideal candidate will have experience in responding to large tender opportunities comprising of many technologies and platforms, technical qualifications and management experience in leading a technical team.

We are looking for a candidate with-

  • Solid communication skills
  • Proven ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions
  • Experience creating technical documentation
  • Ability to create and deliver effective technical presentations
  • High level of initiative proactively identify customer opportunities and technical solutions.
  • Project Management methodology experience e.g. Prince2, PMBOK
  • IT Infrastructure Library (ITIL) awareness
  • Tertiary qualifications in engineering or software development
  • Background in the Health Care industry or similar experience
