About You

We are looking for an experienced Team Leader (Inwards Goods) who possesses a positive attitude towards work and staff engagement, with natural ability of running an efficient inwards goods team.  You will be responsible for identifying and driving process opportunities for improvements in receipting and storing LSC products.

In this role your broad responsibilities will include;

  • Coaching, leading and developing a skilled and enthusiastic team;
  • Supervise the daily workflow in Inwards Goods to ensure smooth and efficient operation;
  • Ensure stock is put away accurately, efficiently and in a timely manner;
  • Collect and maintain item attributes including barcodes, weights, pack sizes, UOMs, measures and so forth in LSCs system;
  • Ensure team members productivity and motivation is optimised through monitoring work performance and providing advice and assistance as required;
  • Work with warehouse & product managers to drive process improvement from the suppliers side.

To be successful in the role you will possess the following

  • At least 2 years leadership experience in all aspects of warehousing/ distribution or transport;
  • Commitment to the principles, policies and implementation of WH&S and Quality Standards
  • Sound knowledge of manual handling, safety awareness, forklift safety and workplace harassment;
  • Experience with contemporary management and logistics technology and practices, familiarity with a range of ERP and WMS solutions;
  • Excellent organisational skills, with the ability to manage and plan within tight deadlines;
  • Must possess a current Forklift Licence.
