Full time permanent position

This position will provide administrative support as part of the Marketing and Communications team, including the coordination of marketing and communications related activities for the organisation.

The successful candidate will have Cert III in Business Administration or willingness to undertake or equivalent experience and Current QLD Drivers Licence - essential. Willingness to undertaken graphic design or related studies - highly desirable.

Demonstrated minimum 2 years' experience in an administrative role in a service focussed setting preferably in an Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander work environment is essential to this role. Experience developing design products (brochures, posters etc) or in using design tools, such as the Adobe Suite is highly desirable.

Knowledge of administration practices with sound computing skills, particularly with Microsoft Office Suite, and demonstrated ability to learn new applications as well as sound literacy and numeracy skills is essential to this role. You will also have demonstrated knowledge and understanding of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultures, and diversity of circumstances, particularly with respect to the people of Cape York and must be willing and able to travel to Cape York, as required.
