Administration Support Officer

35 hours per week, contract position for 4 months, Coordinate and provide administrative support to the Wagga Office, Work with a Tier 1 community housing provider.

Primary Purpose

The Administration Support Officer reports to the Team Leader and is located at our Wagga Office.  As our Administration Support Officer, you will work as part of a local team with your main focus being to support the Operations team through the provision of administration duties and being the first point of contact with our tenants and housing applicants. This role will be responsible for:

  • Providing telephone and face to face support to complex clients
  • Preparing bulk correspondence and mail outs to tenants in regards rent arrears and other tenancy related matters
  • Preparing tenancy agreements and new tenant sign up packs
  • Planning and co-ordinating inspections for Tenancy officers
  • Administering the Void/ Vacant spreadsheet
  • Processing of non-rent accounts
  • Ensuring the smooth running of the office by maintaining stationery and other office supplies
  • Coordinating meetings, events and preparing agendas and minutes
  • Assisting when required with reception duties
  • Logging maintenance requests
  • Any other duties as required

  • Qualifications of a tertiary level in business administration are desirable.
  • Excellent computer skills.
