About the role
Townsville Logistics has an opportunity for a person looking to advance their career within the transport and logistics industry. Were seeking a reliable and energetic self-starter to join our team on a full time basis.
The key duties of this position includes but is not limited to:
Communicate with internal and external Customers for updates on freight;
Reconcile connote data and shipping documentation for movement of products domestically and internationally;
Invoice and responding to Customer queries;
Prepare reports of delivery data to customers, head office and relevant external stakeholders;
Assist with reconciling and checking Driver logbooks;
Reconcile financial accounts for reporting; and
Provide administrative assistance and undertake tasks as requested.
You are a self-motivated person with a can-do attitude, flexibility to work independently or within a team and the capacity to absorb, retain and apply new information. Your strong communication and time management skills will assist you in planning and problem solving to meet customer requirements.
Additionally, you will have:
Experience in the transport and logistics, or similar, industry;
Strong attention to detail and ability to manage deadlines; and
Competency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word.
