ASSISTANT WAREHOUSE MANAGER - JOHNNYS FURNITURE GROUP
This position would be very suitable for someone seeking temporary employment, perhaps a current warehouse manager who is in between jobs.
We are seeking an enthusiastic, self-motivated, team oriented and physically fit person with strong communication skills to join our Warehouse team full-time. The successful candidate will have a minimum 3 years Warehousing Management experience leading a small team of dedicated workers working within a fast-paced environment. You will be required to work in a team as well as autonomously when needed. If you have a can-do attitude and are a great team player then you might just be the person we are looking for. This is a hands-on role covering all facets of warehousing.
The role includes, but is not limited to, the following tasks :- Liaising with Contractors Serving Customers Loading and Unloading Trucks Organising Deliveries and Trucks Order Picking Forklift Operations (If Licenced) Inventory Control Container unloading Computer work/ Office Administration work
The successful candidate will possess their own personal transport, Forklift ticket and experience within a similar Industry. If you also have an MR licence that would be very handy, but again not a necessity. We work together within a small team and enjoy what we do, and we are looking for the right person to join our team and grow within the team on both a personal and professional level.
