Warehouse and Logistics Manager - Agribusiness Focus

As such, our client is now seeking a warehouse and logistics manager with great change management skills to provide leadership while meeting and optimizing business warehouse performance objectives, service, productivity, quality and safety.
Reporting to the Supply Chain Manager and leading a team of 5 direct reports across 2 sites your keys responsibilities will cover:
Planning, organizing, directing and running optimum day to day warehouse and logistics operations for the purpose of ensuring availability and efficient distribution of product
Conduct inventory control procedures, including reconciliation
Implement and direct warehouse safety programs, prepare work schedules, analyse dispatch errors, implement corrective action plans
Ensure quality standards are adhered and exceeded in regard to brand standards, packaging, labelling all while delivered exceptional customer service
Ensure traffic management plan is followed
Review performance data and identify potential trends and opportunities
Coach employees on job, performance and behavioural requirements
Work collaboratively with business units including production, technical and QA
The successful candidate will play a lead role in motivating the team to maintain consistent achievement of KPI’s and problem solve when required. You will also be tasked with providing outstanding leaderships – lead by example, empower staff, and lift standards within the warehouse and logistics area. Ideally you will have a demonstrated ability to manage the team through process, integrity, systems and cultural change all whilst maintaining clear communication lines with internal business units.
Ideally you will possess a minimum of 5 years warehouse and logistics management experience within a manufacturing environment with a focus on food, agribusiness or pharmaceutical. You will also be competent across ERP and warehouse management software and have knowledge of ISO 9001 and HACCP certification.
