Facilities Co-Ordinator

We are now looking for a Facilities Co-ordinator to join our team. 

This is a newly created role supporting the Facilities Manager at this leading wholefood manufacturer with scope for learning & development.

This is a new position to support the critical work carried out by the IT & Facilities Manager, to ensure the smooth running of manufacturing equipment and to provide IT support as required. 

This is a hands-on role, where you will assist with 

  • Ensuring all plant & equipment required for day to day operations are functional, compliant and safe.
  • The management & co-ordination of facilities subcontractors
  • Overseeing the work carried out by third party contractors and be a point of contact for issues relating to facility management.
  • Machinery maintenance & modification
  • Commissioning of equipment
  • Preventative Maintenance
  • Provide IT support to staff as required 


You will need to demonstrate 

  • Certificate 111 in Engineering (Preferable)
  • Experience in Food Manufacturing environment (Preferable)
  • Ability to troubleshoot, diagnose and repair mechanical manufacturing equipment
  • Excellent communication skills, verbal & written
  • An understanding of maintenance processes 
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to prioritise tasks
  • Computer literacy 
  • A willingness to learn and strive for improvement
  • Ability in managing relationships with internal and external parties

  • Salary: approx. $55.8K Package
