About the role:

Evoenergys Overhead Assets team within the Network Services group have a new opportunity available for an Overhead Assets Engineer.

In this role, you will manage a portfolio of approximately 100,000 overhead electricity distribution network assets and develop asset strategies and plans within Evoenergys ISO55001 certified asset management system.

You will apply a strategic and integrated approach to our asset management planning, which will ensure safety, result in better reliability for our customers, better return on investment for our owners and enable other staff to work on our assets more efficiently.

We are looking for someone to test and challenge the maintenance thinking, for transformational change to the current asset management processes across the entire asset lifecycle.

You will be able to inspire the team with a contagious communication style by delivering clear and structured presentations, documents and correspondence to our customers, both internal and external.

Well, if you have:

  • Degree qualification in engineering
  • Demonstrated experience and understand of: asset management principles and overhead asset construction and maintenance
  • Design skills associated with network electrical equipment installation including protection & controls
  • Shown experience using GID, LIDAR, aerial photography and other asset inspection data as well as Cityworks and ADMS
  • Proven experience in life cycle cost estimates, preparation of budgets, monitoring financial performance of Program of Works
