About the position

  • Demonstrated experience in a leadership team supporting CEO, Board and Subcommittees.
  • Experience in insurance or financial services industry.


The successful candidate will:

  • In consultation with the Group CEO and Senior Leadership Team, develop and execute the strategic direction for RACT.
  • Lead and oversee the development of strategic plans, divisional budgets and delivery of business plans aligned to RACTs strategic objectives.
  • Oversee the overall sales performance and service delivery elements of the businesses which RACT operates directly.
  • Operate, evolve and continuously improve RACTs distribution channels, ensuring the member experience is seamless and efficient, driving consistency in standards of service.
  • Manage and oversee the operational engagement and hand-over points between RACT and its manufacturing partners, such as Insurance.
  • Utilise member and market insights to inform decisions that would aid in enhancing our differentiated service delivery.
  • Identify and develop new commercial opportunities for RACTs business lines outside of the RACT brand.
  • Embedding robust operational Quality Assurance and analytics in RACTs operational processes.
  • Evaluate and advise on the impact of long range planning, introduction of new products, programs or strategies, including regulatory implications.
  • Implement a change management approach to successfully lead during periods of transformation. 
  • Pursue a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.
  • Create an environment of collaboration and cross-functional teamwork.
