Our client is a leading Pharmaceutical company that has strong global roots and are leaders in their field.   This company is challenging the market and is now looking for a Commercial Business Partner that is energetic and professional and who is truly ready for something new. Our clients  strong market position is achieved through the promotion of a diverse and successful product portfolio and an innovative and exciting pipeline across a broad range of therapeutic areas.  In a changing landscape, IT systems and processes need to be aligned to enable organisational connectivity. As a result of our growth and evolution, we require an experienced Commercial Business Partner to join our team.

The role reports directly to  the GM Financial Planning & Analysis. The team purpose is to support senior management and the commercial management function to drive optimal business decisions for the company

The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate the following accountabilities:

  • Indirect sales reporting, product and customer KPI data analysis and validation.
  • Leverage on data for business intelligence and reporting
  • End-to-end support to key account contract terms administration, KPI and profitability analysis
  • Pricing management and optimisation
  • Support the review of business proposals: drive process governance and rigorous decision making
  • Lead analysis for profitability and commercial opportunities optimisation

Our client is embarking in re-engineering and developing their Business Intelligence and Reporting using MS Power BI (reporting and visualisation) on a MS Azure platform (data warehouse). The new platform will also integrate a new  ERP and CRM systems.

Your profile:

  • Experience Financial Planning or Commercial Analysis manager in blue chip organisations (flexible in terms of industry like FMCG, large Retail, Financial Services, etc)
  • History of successful delivery, and exposure to senior management
  • Must bring in very strong business reporting and financial rigour capabilities, therefore FCA or CPA is preferred
  • The candidate is likely to have had audit practice experience or gained significant corporate finance experience and developed into financial and commercial analysis
  • Ability to turn complex large amounts of data into simple commercial insights. Familiar with Power BI, Hyperion or similar
  • Flexibility and adaptability to thrive in an expanding environment performing a variety of tasks
  • Significant exposure to drive process based Management reporting and preparation of financial Budgets and Forecasts
