Pixel Co Creative & Marketing is a full service design and digital marketing studio on the Sunshine Coast, QLD. 

We design beautiful brands, websites that are a cut above the rest, and a whole lot of social media ads and funnels to support our clients to grow their business. We are a small and tight-knit team of creative and marketing leaders in our field that are passionate about what we do and we are looking for our next integral team member. 

We work with clients across Australia, New Zealand and America, we're big on delivering an amazing customer experience one would expect from a local business, but we have a business with a global reach and international expertise.

About the role


As our Digital Marketing Assistant, your focus will be on supporting our Creative Director and Social Media Marketing Lead in implementing the strategies across multiple platforms required.

Your day to day will involve working across a huge range of digital marketing software including, but not limited to, email marketing platforms, websites, Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Wordpress and more.

This is a very hands-on role, you're an energetic individual who thrives as a life long learner who loves to keep abreast of the constantly changing world of marketing technology. You can turn your hand to writing witty social media captions and eDM intro's too!

Why you'll be a perfect fit for our team:

As our invaluable Marketing Assistant, you are responsible for supporting the Creative Director and Lead Social Media Marketer with the day to day execution of multiple digital marketing projects. You love to take direction and soak up the knowledge, then give everything a go. You'll be great at learning on the fly and are awesome at just 'figuring stuff out' on new platforms. 

Tasks you'll be doing:

  • We'll want you to weigh in on marketing strategy conversations, your opinion matters to us

  • You'll set up campaigns in Facebook Business Manager and Ads Manager with strategic direction given to you

  • You'll post organic posts to Facebook, Instagram and LinkedIn platforms through a scheduling software, or natively

  • You'll create Insta and FB stories

  • You'll write, build and schedule email newsletters

  • You'll read and collate data into spreadsheets so you can analyse and provide reports and recommendations based on insights (in collaboration with our Lead Social Media Marketer to guide you).

  • You will be able to deliver projects that are striving to achieve the client's goals and objectives at all times.

  • You will have strong ownership and can maintain strong client, partner and internal agency relationships across specified accounts. People love that you are a great communicator of both good and bad or constructive news!


Skills and experience


Your background will include:

  • A degree in Marketing/Digital Media or similar qualification (could be design or web with a major in e-media)

  • You must have full-time working rights in Australia

  • Experience in working with Apple computers

  • Sound knowledge of Google Docs (or Microsoft Office), email marketing platforms, Wordpress admin panel, Facebook, Instagram and LinkedIn.

  • A high level of organisation and excellent attention to detail is a must

  • Great time management skills, we work to and respect deadlines

  • A passion for Digital Media and helping to grow clients businesses

  • Strong interpersonal relationship skills

  • A hardworking, analytical approach.

Bonus knowledge:

A background or experience in Website design or development, copywriting or graphic design will be seen as a bonus, as we draw on these skills all the time in our digital marketing projects. But they are not necessary.
