The Opportunity

We have a rare opportunity for an experienced and well-rounded Senior Tax Accountant to join our team. Based in Sydney and joining on a full-time basis, you will bring your expertise and professionalism to ensure you succeed and with us.

Your duties, but not limited to:

  • Assist with client accounting queries
  • Liaise with and conduct meetings directly with clients
  • Manage your own workflow, including effectively working with multiple clients
  • Proactively work to and meet deadlines
  • Complete CTR's, BAS, IAS, work papers, Financial Statements, and Reports
  • Conduct annual meetings and tax planning sessions
  • When required, interpret and apply statute, case law and extraneous materials for complex issues
  • Provide strategic tax advice on various investments and business structures for new businesses
  • Supervise and mentor and advise junior team members
  • Other duties as required

Role Requirements

  • A minimum of 5 years' experience within public practice
  • CA/CPA qualified
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Experienced with quickly building a friendly and professional rapport with clients
  • Proactive mindset, with a solution focused work ethic
  • Experienced with client management
  • Forward thinking, with the ability to capitalise on new opportunities
  • Experience in HandiSoft, Xero, MYOB and MS Office with attention to Excel
  • Team player committed to growing and succeeding with us
