Our client is a FMCG business with a long history in Australia. As a result of their significant growth and expansion they are currently recruiting a Maintenance Supervisor/Fitter to manage the maintenance of the plant.
About the Role
Your responsibilities will include providing quality maintenance service in the plant which includes preventative maintenance, corrective maintenance, improvement of machine performance and other duties as directed by the Maintenance Manager
You will also be responsible for
Diagnose and correct faults including complex faults.
Adhere to engineering and operational standards and OHS policies and guidelines.
Carry out both corrective and preventative maintenance with a view to maximising machine performance.
Ensure all plant maintenance and material maintenance transactions are recorded using SAP.
Ability to work in rotating shifts
To be successful, you will need
Relevant Trade Qualification
Strong experience in the identification and correction of equipment related faults is desirable
Experience as a Maintenance Fitter in a manufacturing/production company
Demonstrate analytical, problem solving skills mechanical systems
Experience in plant maintenance, preventative, predictive and reactive maintenance is must
Competency in welding, Ability to work at heights, Proven commitment to safety
Ability to meet deadline
Willingness to work day & afternoon shift on a rotational basis
Licenses and certifications in Confined Spaces, Working Safely at Heights, Chem Cert, First Aid, Drivers Licence, Forklift or High-Risk Licence is desired
