ABOUT THE CLIENT
This client is a small not for profit organisation providing services to assist older people and people with disabilities to remain independent, active and connected to their community and able to live at home with reduced social isolation.
This role overseas the business to ensure good management practices, governance and organisational culture are developed and applied to the day- to day activities. It involves a significant hands-on component given the small number of staff employed and works closely with the organisations Committee of Management. The General Manager is also responsible for building and maintaining strong and positive relationships with key external stakeholders.

DEMONSTRATED KEY COMPETENCIES/QUALIFICATIONS:
Solid financial acumen
Excellent problem solving, conceptual and analytical skills
Outstanding written and oral communication skills
Ability to influence at all levels
Strong internal/external stakeholder engagement
Impeccable integrity and honesty
Ability to work with volunteers and capacity to communicate with people from a diverse range of backgrounds and experiences
Experience in a not for profit (preferred)
Knowledge of the National Disability Insurance Scheme (preferred)
Tertiary qualifications and/or relevant experience in management and administration
This position attracts an excellent salary including salary packaging.The successful candidate will be required to complete a National Police Check.
