Reporting and supporting the Business Directors & Group GM, this position is an integral role in the organisation that requires a highly organised and skilled Executive Assistant who can provide an exceptional level of coordination,  management and at all times upholding SEM Groups Company Values.

Some of the key attributes for the position are as follows: 

  • An understanding of the South Australian Construction sector in particular the key programs used, terminology, ideally knowledge of key customers and passion for the sector. 
  • Have strong commitment to the success of SEM Group.
  • Provide information to management on policies, procedures, and work instructions (as required).
  • Provide assistance to tenders and submissions as directed
  • Champion SEM Groups paperless transition. 
  • Maintaining the current filing and database system, and looking for ways to improve current systems
  • Update policies, procedures, work instructions and forms on the companys Integrated Management System and Third-Party Accreditations (as required) working with HSEQ Manager.
  • Coordination of Executive, Management and client meetings as required. 
  • Undertake and assist in system audits (as required).
  • As directed by the Group General Manager, coordinate the company webpage and LinkedIn page by uploading information and ensuring the accuracy and currency of information (as required).
  • As directed by the Group General Manager, develop regular monthly reports for senior management and Directors.
  • Preparing, formatting, and processing reports, presentations and papers for board meetings, as well as taking meeting minutes as requested.

Ideally we seek someone from the civil sector, or similar, experienced in high level dealings maintaining the utmost of integrity at all times. Being confident and very enthusiastic about the pace of day to day operations but remaining down to earth, having a can-do attitude and being easy going with all staff. Enjoying the taking on of problem solving with innovative ideas and showing initiative in supporting the group managing time sensitivities and priorities as required.  

You must have excellent organisational skills, communication both written and verbal and be an expert in Microsoft Office products.  SEM Group genuinely care for their people, we are highly supportive, collaborative and offer a learning environment to the successful candidate.
