The Senior Logistics Manager is responsible for safely and effectively managing all site-based activities in the areas of safety, client management, operation effectiveness, personnel welfare, equipment availability and commercial viability along with ensuring the profitability and productivity of the business.
The role will strive to ensure processes are implemented safely and are reliable and efficient. It is also expected that the Senior Logistics Manager will drive Tolls values of honesty, integrity, transparency, safety & team work and continuous improvement.
To be successful in this role you will have:
Suitable experience operating in a management level position
Product knowledge, ideally with experience in the transport and logistics industry and offshore oil and gas
Extensive understanding of supply chain management & integrated logistics along with transportation systems and management including dangerous goods management
Understanding of crane and heavy lifting operations along with maritime operations including wharf services, cranes and stevedoring operations.
Sound knowledge of ISO 9001 and 4801, and satisfactory knowledge of ISO14001
Exposure to and basic understanding of financial modelling
Demonstrated use of KPIs to measure overall performance
Previous experience with a FIFO roster within a remote location is desirable
