HSEQ Advisor

Insituform Pacific Pty Limited, now part of the leading Killard Group. Specialising in trenchless pipeline rehabilitation projects for a range of Clients throughout Australia. We employ over 200 staff with long-term experience in the pipeline renovation industry at all levels of our company. We give our Clients full traceability through all project stages from the manufacture to installation of the range of Insituform products.

About the Role

Due to growth and some exciting new projects we are looking for an experienced Health, Safety, Environment and Quality Advisor to join our team in Geelong.

Reporting to the National HSEQ Manager, the successful candidate will be responsible for liaising with Project Managers, Site Supervisors, Site Foreman to drive continuous improvement across Health, Safety, Environment and Quality. 

Responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:

  • Providing support and advice to operational teams
  • Conducting audits, site inspections and risk assessments
  • Conducting incident investigations
  • Monitoring PPE & First Aid equipment and supplies
  • Monitoring, reviewing and ensuring compliance with HSEQ requirements
  • Implementing corrective actions
  • Conducting inductions and assisting with on boarding of new starters
  • Preparing and participating in tool box talks
  • Preparing and issuing safety alerts
  • HSEQ reporting
  • Attending client project meetings

About You

The role would suit an independent, confident HSEQ Advisor with a minimum of 2 years prior experience in a similar role in the pipeline / civil construction field along with relevant WHS qualifications and a solid understanding of current WHS and environment legislation.


  • Previous experience with confined space and excavation safety regulations.
  • Previous pipeline, drainage or civil construction experience
  • Strong communication skills (oral & written)
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently
  • Excellent computer skills including Microsoft Office and Excel
  • Ability to travel to Regional work sites
  • Certificate IV WHS
  • Current drivers licence
  • OHS Construction General Induction Card


  • Current Confined Space Entry training
  • System Auditor Qualifications / Training
  • Senior First Aid Accreditation
  • Return to Work Coordination Accreditation
