One of our core values is to delight our clients, so this full-time role would suit someone who enjoys engaging with, and assisting clients. As Receptionist, you are often the first point of contact for incoming calls and welcoming clients to our office so someone who values and enjoys customer service is paramount. Your role also plays an important part in providing support to our team of accountants, directors, and administrative staff. Some of your key responsibilities will be:
Attending to switch - managing the incoming calls in a friendly, efficient manner
Welcoming clients to the office, and ensuring boardrooms are set up and ready
Managing team diaries, including making appointments and sending text reminders
Managing multiple inboxes
Administrative tasks, such as attending to ATO correspondence, lodging tax returns, and managing notice of assessments
Handling of incoming and outgoing mail
General administrative tasks, such as stationery orders, banking, etc
Maintain a tidy reception, and ensuring boardrooms are always clean
Scanning and saving of incoming files, as required
To be successful in this role, you will have the following qualities:
Be client-service focused, reliable, and have a friendly, professional manner
Have at least two years experience working in a similar role for an Australian accounting firm
Excellent communication skills both written and spoken
Extremely proficient with different software, with the ability to learn and adapt to new software programs
Experience with XPM an advantage
You show initiative, have an eye for detail, and can work unsupervised
