Corporate Services Manager

MetLife Australia is a leading provider of life insurance, partnering with employers, super funds and financial advisers to help Australians protect the lifestyle they love and providing help when they need it most.


MetLife is looking for an experienced full-time Corporate Services Manager to provide high level operational support to the business on administrative matters such as procurement, facilities management, financial planning, real estate and other corporate services activities.



  • Work closely with other business leaders to analyse business performance
  • Ensure staff are supported with effective services, systems and processes
  • Improve business planning across the organisation
  • Establish and maintain policies, procedures and systems necessary for appropriate practices, controls, reporting and services that support and meet all corporate and regulatory requirements
  • Drive integrated solutions and sourcing strategies that support the businesss cost efficiencies and growth requirements
  • Drive annual savings through expense management
  • Develop and implement procurement strategies
  • Identify sourcing/ procurement opportunities through data analysis, tendering, industry market intelligence, corporate strategy alignment and working relationships with stakeholders
  • Identify, analyse and develop space planning strategies
  • Manage design and implementation of strategic space planning programs


Skills/Qualifications Required:

5 10+ years working experience including but not limited to:

  • Management role where responsibilities in the field of corporate services are diverse
  • Track record of managing others
  • Experience in managing budgets
  • Excellent time management skills and ability to prioritise multiple, conflicting demands
  • Strong critical analysis, problem solving, planning, decision-making, leadership
  • Experience in handling tender processes
  • Experience and demonstrated ability to drive projects to timely completion, identifying and overcoming obstacles and/or challenges
  • Previous experience and ability to strategically and independently lead multiple large strategic sourcing teams concurrently
