We currently have a vacancy for a Junior Administration Assistant performing a diverse range of administration duties for our hard-working team. The position will initially start as a casual part-time position from 9 am to 3 pm each day with a view to transition into a full-time role.
Responsibilities associated with this role could include but are not limited to:
Answering phone calls, data entry, proofreading, scanning, photocopying, filing, emails
Distribution of incoming mail; preparing and sending outgoing mail
Maintain and re-order consumables and office supplies
Preparation of word/excel documents when required and associated paperwork
Preparation of meetings including meeting invites, agendas, meeting minutes and action lists
Ensure that meetings rooms are booked and set-up for meetings. This may include set- up for training, presentations, meetings, workshops and may require, materials preparation/printing, set-up of video conferencing, and refreshments.
Ensuring general upkeep of the office, meeting rooms and kitchen areas
Greet visitors, offer refreshments, and alert employee that their visitor has arrived
Assist with event coordination, ad-hoc marketing task and QMS documentation from the Corporate Affairs Manager as required
To be successful in this role, we expect that you will be able to demonstrate the following skills and attributes.
Intermediate computer literacy with M.S. Word and Outlook
Strong work ethic, excellent presentation, and enthusiastic attitude
Ability to remain accurate and efficient under pressure
Highly organised with excellent time management skills
Ability to work well with others and take direction
At least three years experience in a similar office administrative role
At least two referrals from past places of employment
Commitment to enhancing your skills through ongoing training and offering new and challenging tasks
