About Think Water Northern Rivers

Think Water Northern Rivers is a specialist water solutions business focused on the design, supply, installation, and maintenance of all irrigation systems. As part of the Think Water network, the group is committed to providing solutions towards the rapidly changing landscape of water management throughout Australasia. We are looking for a Project Sales Manager to join our team.

The purpose of the role of Project Sales Manager will be to establish new clients and identify new irrigation and water supply projects through proactive business development while building long-term client relationships through effective project management.

Experience

Proven business development experience with water systems or professional services will be essential. Demonstrated experience in designing commercial water or irrigation systems for landscape architects, horticulture or civil works will be highly regarded. A background in managing projects from start to finish and sound experience in design, analysis, costing, and project implementation is crucial to the success of this role.

  • Project and contract management.
  • Lead and manage staff.
  • Prepare project plans that include milestones, and identify risks and opportunities.
  • Manage and deliver projects within budget, schedule, financial and quality parameters.
  • Prepare, monitor, and operate project budgets.
  • Promote a strong team function and culture, and manage conflict resolution.
  • Champion workplace health and safety among staff, contractors, customers, and members of the public.
  • Design commercial water or irrigation systems.

The successful candidate will be outcomes focussed, have a reputation for high quality and demonstrate advanced verbal communication and written English skills.

Education and Training

  • Tertiary qualifications preferred (Engineering, Agricultural and/or Architectural)
  • Diploma of Irrigation or Certificate IV
  • Existing or capable of attaining Certified Irrigation Designer qualification
  • Broad knowledge of pumps and irrigation methods, components, their applications, and performance
  • 'C' class motor vehicle licence
