1 X Ops/Production Manager & 1 X Production Planner

About Our Client

Our client is a FMCG business. As a result of their significant growth and expansion they are currently recruiting a Operations/Production Manager and one Production Planner to join their business.

About the Role

Reporting to the Site Manager you will be responsible for

  • Optimising Manufacturing Operations and supply chain - Ensuring successful operation of the business and achievement of targets, budgets and contractual obligations.
  • Leading Continuous Improvement - Identifying and driving process continuous improvement to enable efficiencies and reduce production unit costs.
  • Ensure Quality Standards - Performing and monitoring quality controls and improve production KPIs to best practice standards ensuring the highest standards of HACCP, GMP and LEAN exist across the facility.
  • Develop our Production team - Inspired leadership and management of the manufacturing and warehousing operations team on the site.
  • Provide Timely and Accurate intelligence - Reporting operational performance to the CEO and executive team
  • Manage Capital Expenditure and asset maintenance - Oversee the management of all capital projects ensuring best option and ROI decisions are made.

About You

  • Senior management experience delivering operational excellence utilising Lean / Six Sigma tools, techniques and methodologies with a track record of delivering measurable improvement
  • Strong knowledge of how to deliver Continuous improvement projects focused on driving business performance
  • Fluent in SAP or an equivalent ERP system
  • Highly proficient in analysing and reporting of financial performance, budgets and production KPis
  • Ability to analyse, forecast and plan while effectively managing resources and raw materials
  • Demonstrated understanding of contemporary OHS requirements.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills to influence, coach and build high performing self-managed teams.
  • Solutions based thinker and methodical approach to problem solving
  • Budget management experience with good financial and business acumen
  • Strong analytical and reporting proficiency using MS Excel and ERP
  • Relevant formal/tertiary qualification and training will be highly regarded
