About the Opportunity
The Customer Service Consultant is part of our Customer Experience team, providing exceptional and dedicated support to our internal and external clients on a range of services, products, campaigns and activities across St John. In this position you will be required to generate revenue through inbound and outbound B2B campaigns proactively selling first aid courses, first aid kits and other merchandise. There will be a strong emphasis on engagement of potential customers, building rapport and developing long-standing relationships and provision of timely customer service.
Due to growth within our business we are seeking a bright, energetic, and self-motivated individual to join our Customer Service Centre, who is willing to provide exceptional service at all times and has a genuine passion for helping people. Phone based customer service experience is essential, as is reliability, resilience and the ability to thrive in a team environment.
Essential Skills and Attributes (Selection Criteria):
Minimum 2 years' call centre or phone-based sales environment.
Demonstrated evidence of meeting and exceeding sales targets within KPI driven sales environment.
Strong communication and listening skills including a confident and professional phone manner.
Willingness to coach and train team members.
Proficient in Microsoft Office, in particular Outlook and Excel.
Ability to effectively time manage and prioritise tasks; reliability and punctuality.
Accurate data entry and high-level typing speed or touch typing skills.
Ability to problem solve and strong attention to detail.
Willingness to undertake a current Police Record Check and Working with Children Check.
