Inbound Customer Service Officer

We want you to join us on our journey, by assisting us in achieving this goal. We are looking to engage an experienced and self-motivated Inbound Customer Service Officer as part of a centralised support team handling high volume patient calls, enquiries and office administrative tasks.

In this newly created position, the successful candidate will report to our CARE Centre Team Leader. Key responsibilities will include:

  • Answer high volume incoming telephone calls in a timely and professional manner with exceptional customer service at all times.
  • Dealing with all patient enquiries with emphasis on providing our patients with an exceptionally high level of customer service. 
  • Timely processing of patient referrals.
  • Pro-active monitoring of the CARE Centre teams email inbox.
  • Monitoring and updating of LEIs online patient registration platform.
  • Sending out patient correspondence to include; appointment reminders, changes and referrals.
  • Providing broader general administrative support as required.
  • Scanning of patient referrals into our computer database.
  • General administration tasks as required.

Essential Criteria

  • Experience working within a centralised inbound customer / call centre.
  • Demonstrated data entry experience and skills with a high level of accuracy.
  • Proficiency in working with Microsoft Office packages, in particular; Word, Excel and Outlook.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to multi-task and prioritise your workload.
  • Ability to work well as part of a close knit team and autonomously as required.
  • Commitment to professionalism, discretion, confidentiality and compliance with privacy requirements.
  • Motivated and results driven.
