Safety focused with a strong understanding of current legislation, best practice and willingness and capability to conform to these standards.
Work with site supervisor to complete daily tasks and deadlines that are set
Excellent people skills and ability to motivate and inspire other team members
Very strong accountability skills to ensure team performance and standards are upheld at all times
Highly organised and driven and is consistently reliable.
Strong initiative and problem-solving skills being solutions-focused with a common-sense approach
Confident communicator and ability to effectively liaise with team members and clients
Minimum 3 years experience in Copper and Zinc roofing techniques essential
Valid drivers licence in Queensland (or can get)
Proven experience and tendency to want to follow systems and processes and contribute to their improvement
Competent in using computers and experience in using a cloud-based Job Management System
Technical competency in carpentry
You will be required to complete the day to day tasks set by the site supervisor of an allocated project, ensuring work is completed to the right standards and quality expected and maintaining productivity.
This may include at times supervising projects in the absent of site supervisor. It is expected that field staff maintain a minimum of 38 hours per week chargeable time.
