Southern Cross Group is a leading Australian owned Mining services and equipment supplier based in Mackay. We are rapidly expanding and due to updating our accounting systems are seeking to fill an Accountant role to assist our Finance Manager with the day to day compilation of accounts, wages, GL and other accounting functions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintaining general accounting tasks
  • Assistance to the Management Accountant
  • Inventory management and database management
  • Payroll administration 
  • Supervise AP and AR functions


The Successful Applicant :

  • Preferably have Accounting Degree
  • 2 to 3 years Accounting / Bookkeeping experience in a medium sized enterprise
  • Ability to supervise staff
  • A good work ethic / great attitude
  • Ability to work full time hours
  • Myob Exo Business knowledge desirable
