Our new Business Administrator will:

  • Be tech savvy and know or be willing to learn, waitlist, enrolment, communication, social platforms, and other web applications that support the efficient running of our Centre.

These are the core responsibilities for this position. Other duties may be added by the Centre Manager / Leadership team as required.

  1. Demonstrated ability to manage the day to day administration of the Centre including handling; phone calls, emails and interactions with families.
  2. Demonstrated high level verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to produce and distribute correspondence, maintain records, take minutes, compile reports etc.
  3. Thorough understanding of enrolment and orientation process for new families and the ability to support families through this to achieve positive outcomes.
  4. Thorough understanding & proven competency of administrative tasks including record keeping, accounts receivable, debtor management, managing the rolls, purchasing & stock control, budgeting/finances and managing orders.
  5. Ability to develop collaborative partnerships with families and educators to support the provision of education and care.
  6. Experience in developing, maintaining and upholding business processes and service policies and procedures.
  7. Commitment to regular professional development, both self-identified and as directed by the management team.
