We are now seeking to recruit a new Administration Officer (Full Time) to contribute and build on these strengths.

As the Admin Officer you will command and control your domain as the traffic controller for the organisation. You will join three other senior management staff working from the Ballina NSW office.

Your role will be to:

  • Manage reception in a polite and professional manner in providing accurate information regarding our services as the first point of contact with clients via phone, email and face-to-face.
  • Support the team with the administration of operations, customer correspondence and service documentation.
  • Manage all office administration tasks including but not limited to:
    • All incoming and outgoing mail (post and electronic)
    • Finance tasks - petty cash, purchasing supplies and receipting
    • Filing, photocopying, printing and/or collating materials
    • Coordinate team meetings, calendar and client appointments
    • Manage meeting areas, kitchen and common areas to ensure they are presented in a clean and tidy manner.

 

Selection Criteria

To be successful and enjoy this job you will need to demonstrate:

  • Absolute attention to detail
  • Highly developed verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to maintain a high level of professionalism and confidentiality
  • Great time-management skills and an ability to prioritise your workload
  • High level knowledge and experience with MS Office and Database applications
  • Confidence with smart phone and digital devices or willingness to learn
  • Qualifications and at least three years experience in Administration or Business management
  • Strong customer service skills, particularly the ability to work with people with a disability, and their friends and family.

 

Highly desirable traits include:

  • Knowledge of the NDIS framework
  • Understanding of the National Disability Standards
  • Experience working in a legal office
