About My Plan Manager
My Plan Manager (MPM) is the most experienced NDIS plan management provider in Australia, with a dedicated and friendly team of people, offering flexible support. It is our mission to offer individualised financial management, in meaningful and transparent ways, so that the initial complexities and ongoing responsibilities of being an NDIS participant dont get in the way of our clients living their best lives.
About the role
Reporting to the Marketing & Communications Manager, you will play a key role in delivering a program of content to build brand awareness among NDIS participants, connect and engage with people with a disability, their families, support networks and providers, and ensure that MPM remains a SEO leader in our market.
Main responsibilities include:
- Researching and writing content for the website/blog and social media channels to deliver both useful information and human stories that will attract our audience and build a connection with our brand.
- Maintaining the MPM website, ensuring the content is accurate and meaningful, and meets SEO and accessibility standards;
- Working with MPM clients and the broader disability community to create content that tells their stories;
- Working with external partners on website/digital marketing copy and production of images, graphics and video content.
- As part of a team, manage social media channels to encapsulate our brand voice, and connect with clients through our social platforms.
Your sense of initiative will enable you to drive the consistent and clear messaging that will enhance the MPM brand. An excellent team player, you collaborate with wider teams to ensure all content is consistent with company values and branding. With exceptional communication skills, you have a real knack for building relationships and engaging people through words.
You have demonstrated ability to create a range of content types for different audiences, and experience using social media for business, and website content management systems (we use WordPress). You have a solid understanding of SEO and digital accessibility principles, and basic website maintenance skills.
Extremely organised and with a keen eye for details, you juggle priorities efficiently and follow through to ensure all tasks are completed to the highest standard.
Personal experience with disability or professional experience within the disability sector, in particular with the NDIS, will be highly regarded, as will an understanding of digital marketing, including SEM, social media advertising and lead management.
Prior to commencing with MPM you will be required to hold a current DHS Working with Children's Check (WWCC) or DCSI Child-Related Employment Clearance and a current DHS Disability Services Employment Clearance.
