About the Member Experience Team
The Member Experience Team’s critical focus and aim is to ensure our members are provided with what they need, when they need it, helping businesses work.

About the Role
This role operates as the face of CCIWA and is the first point of contact for all visitors and members arriving at CCIWA’s head office. Critical to this role is the ability to deliver exceptional customer service, with a smile.
The successful individual will exude professionalism and be at ease interacting with a range of stakeholders including small business owners, Government Ministers, foreign dignitaries etc. An adaptable and clear communication style will be key, as will a warm and courteous approach to all clients, visitors and staff.

A passion for CCIWA’s mission and vision will be evident, as will the ability to demonstrate alignment of personal values with CCIWA’s values and culture. 
The position undertakes general administrative duties including answering the phone, incoming and outgoing mail, meeting room and event setup and maintaining the reception, members’ and breakout areas. The role will also support the Member Experience Team with membership enquiries, campaigns and other activities.

Key tasks include:

  • Efficiently and professionally greet all visitors to CCIWA
  • Deliver high-level customer relationship engagement that promotes the CCIWA values and service excellence
  • Management of meeting rooms located in the Members area including set up and pack down of the rooms and AV
  • Efficiently, effectively and professionally answer inbound calls and ensure that the enquiry is dealt with by the relevant business unit
  • Regular and effective use of CRM to document relevant member and client interactions and improve data quality
  • Ensure the reception, Member’s area, breakout areas and meeting rooms are appropriately maintained including consumables.
  • Manage incoming and outgoing mail and other items and correspondence
  • Assist and support the Member Experience Team with membership enquiries, campaigns, projects and other activities as required

This role is a full-time permanent position.

  • Proven ability to deliver exceptional customer service with every interaction
  • An adaptable communication style
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with high attention to detail
  • Proven ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Proven ability to work well both individually and in a team environment
  • Experience in the use of Microsoft Office applications and CRM systems
  • Driven and self-motivated, with the ability to solve problems as they arise

Required Qualifications/Licenses

  • Police Clearance
  • Drivers licence
