Working within the Corporate Finance division, the primary focus of this role is to provide a range of solutions and ad on services to our clients. This is a rewarding and challenging role that will see you progress into the next phase of your career with solid training, support and technical exposure.

As a Corporate Finance Advisor, you will focus on undertaking corporate finance engagements delivering expert solutions to challenges and business issues, such as: 

  • Business case and feasibility study development
  • Financing and structuring of projects
  • Infrastructure development and procurement
  • Financial modelling, analysis and independent reviews
  • Mergers and acquisitions
  • Project finance
  • Public/Private Partnerships 
  • Transaction management
  • Virtual CFO services.

What you will need to succeed in this role: 

  • 2-5 years experience in a professional services firm in corporate finance or a relevant commercial role (Big 4 desirable) 
  • Commercial acumen
  • The ability to analyse and interpret financial statements (e.g. Annual Reports) to enable:
    • conclusions to be formed on the financial performance and financial position of a company; and
    • normalisation adjustments to be applied to compare financial performance across similar entities 
  • Strong academic record
  • Desire and ability to undertake Post Graduate studies (e.g. CFA/CA/MBA)
  • Financial modelling, research and quantitative analysis skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills that enable results to be communicated concisely
  • The ability to devise solutions to abstract problems that have no precedent
  • The ability to identify knowledge gaps and work with senior staff to develop strategies to plug these gaps
  • A genuine passion for delivering exceptional client service and utilising your unique skills

Desirable skills:

  • Intermediate/ Advanced Excel Modelling
  • Experience with Add on Software
  • Month End Experience
  • Power BI/ Tableau experience
  • Software development
  • Database Experience
