These are well respected civil contracting businesses that operate in the Civil, Infrastructure, Mining & Industrial sectors. Their clients are mainly resources operators and government agencies where they deliver civil works covering roads, rail, mining, marine, NPI and associated infrastructure works.
We are currently looking for experienced and driven Civil Supervisors who are passionate about leading teams and driving productivity with a strong regard for quality and safety. These roles will work on a FIFO basis mainly up to a 2:1 or 3:1 swing where you will receive a competitive base salary and uplift depending on the projects.
In these roles you will work directly with the Project Engineers and Project Managers assisting them in the day to day requirements of the project on-site as well as office duties including documentation and reporting. Skills, Attributes and Experience
Solid experience in civil contracting working as a Supervisor or even Superintendent level - Infrastructure, Mining, NPI
Project and technical experience in the areas of bulk & detailed earthworks, drainage, roads, rail, non-process infrastructure etc.
Ability to provide strong direction & mentorship and coordinate with the project team, subcontractors and client representatives
Oversee site activities associated with the efficient use of plant, equipment, labour and materials
Possess a positive and proactive approach to OH&S and instill the values of these companies from a health and safety perspective
Ensure your crews adhere to the site protocols and ensure they have the right permits and training completed
