Biomaterial Engineer, 3D Bioprinting

We are seeking an experienced, creative, and highly-motivated scientist with a very strong background in 3D bioprinting technology to join us in advancing our ground-breaking technology platform.

Your Responsibilities

  • Design, plan, carry out and analyse experiments as part of the Application Science team
  • Drive aspects of our 3D bioprinting development within an interdisciplinary environment
  • Stay up to date with developments in 3D bioprinting technology to guide new developmental paths
  • Support assay development and develop downstream analysis from prototype to final product

Your Qualifications


  • 1+ years project management experience in a biotechnology company within an R&D setting 
  • 3+ years of experience in development of 3D bioprinting hardware, with a strong preference for drop on demand printing technology
  • Expertise in a diversity of 3D bioprinting technologies with in depth knowledge of printing cell-containing substances
  • Expertise in study design, advanced data analysis via python, and communicating results to multidisciplinary teams
  • Adaptability to a changing environment, with an aptitude for business processes
  • Excellent communication skills, evidenced by engagement with the scientific & broader community
  • Strong teamwork with evidence of self-driven initiative 
  • MSc degree in a relevant discipline



  • Biological assay development and use in an industry setting, 
  • Strong experience in making and using 3D cell cultures 
  • Experience in training and supervising other laboratory members
